Triangle Empowerment Center, AIDS United, N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, public health departments, local clinics, hospitals, social workers/case managers, PrEP providers and community members invite you to participate in a community driven and focused discussion about your thoughts and suggestions on the topic of PrEP, PEP & sexual health. This is a free event and is designed to give you knowledge, understanding and answers you need for an innovative tool that is life changing. Seats are limited so you MUST RSVP!
This is a 2-day event with the first day for community members only and the second day specifically for health care providers, social workers/case managers, PrEP providers, etc.

Day 1: Wednesday December 7, 2016 (COMMUNITY) 5:30pm-9:00pm at LGBTQ Center of Durham (114 Hunt Street Durham, NC). Giving you PrEP 101 and discussing where to get access to PrEP. Free STD/STI testing and transportation assistance available. PrEP Navigators/Ambassadors overview.
Day 2: Thursday December 8, 2016 (PROVIDERS); 10:00am-3:30pm at Durham County Human Services (414 E. Main Street Conference Room 1410 [behind ambassador’s desk] Durham, NC). Discussing barriers to access PrEP and PrEP adherence. What’s working and what’s not? How to reach the at-risk population by using new and innovative outreach strategies.
